On the first Monday of almost every month, Rob Natelson appears on “Talk Back,” a morning radio show on KGVO-Missoula, Montana. For three years while on the faculty at the University of Montana, Rob actually hosted that show. Since then, he has returned regularly as a guest to answer audience questions about the Constitution and public affairs.
On June 2, during an “open phones” segment before Rob came on, people called in response to the previous day’s anti-Semitic terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. A minority of callers expressed anti-Israel and even anti-Semitic views. So when Rob came on in the next segment, he began with an entirely extemporaneous, low-key but impassioned, review of history and a defense of Israel.
You can listen here. Rob’s segment begins at 50:25. During the remainder of the show, callers asked about the Middle East and, as is usual, the U.S. and Montana Constitutions—including why Joe Biden wasn’t disqualified under the 25th amendment and Biden’s autopen.
